Everyone knows that hair can be stressed, brittle and lose shine. With brows and lashes it’s the same. Getting them back into shape requires proper care products. As intensive night care we recommend the RefectoCil Care Balm. Its vitamins and plant oils strengthen the hair over night. Additionally castor oil supports natural brow & lash growth.
The RefectoCil Styling Gel is the ideal day care. It provides colour protection, binds moisture and provides shine. Furthermore unruly hair can be fixed in the desired position.
The lashes must cover cushioned part of the pad. If they are too short and end in the middle (thickest) part of the pad use a smaller pad.
S: strong lifting effect; especially for short lashes
M: natural lifting effect; for normal long lashes

The Care Balm is the ideal night care after tinting but you should wait 24h hours before using it because within this time frame the Care Balm’s high fat content can affect the tinting result.
The specially developed Silicone Pads can be reused up to 100 times when carefully maintained.
Easy: wipe off the solution, use some more glue, wait again for 15 seconds and fix the lashes.
Apply Eyelash Lift Glue liberally to the first part of the pad and also on to the first part of the lashes. Wait for 15 seconds. Then fix the first part. Repeat this section by section until all lashes are fixed.

If eyebrows are tinted after the use of self-tanning lotion, a yellowish discoloration of the skin could occur.

Yes, even though cold wax is more compatible and pleasant than warm wax or tweezing individual hairs and the application is faster than conventional methods, few people experience an allergic reaction (rash, pimples,..) to cold wax. Generally the following applies: Don’t take a long bath before application. Don’t apply them to inflamed skin, skin abrasions, acne, scars, warts, birthmarks or herpes. Don’t use on diabetics or if the client is taking retinoids.
All but five RefectoCil products are vegan, meaning they don’t contain animal based raw materials. The exceptions are:
The triangular strips can be used for removing hairs between the brows or above them.
Individual very short hairs may remain. They will have already been loosened by the wax and can easily be pulled out with tweezers.
Apply RefectoCil® Skin Protection Cream & Eye Mask and lightly rub it off.
Clean and degrease the eye-area thoroughly with RefectoCil Micellar Eye Make-up Remover and Saline Solution. Press the strips on firmly and evenly, so that the wax connects with the hairs.

We recommend tinting the brows in the course of depilation: apply the Brow Styling Strips, then the tint and use the strips as template. Remove the tint after the application time and then remove the strips against the direction of hair growth. If the brows are tinted separately, it is imperative to tint before removing the hair to avoid skin irritations.
You can repeat the treatment, as soon as the lashes are straight; in most cases after 6 weeks.
Yes. The product has been developed for the sensitive eye-area. Furthermore we conducted numerous tests that proved that the product can even be used on thin and fine lashes without concern.
If the lashes are too curly, just use a larger eyelash roller and repeat the application with half the application time. If the curl is too weak, make sure, that the eye-area has been cleaned thoroughly and of all residues and that a correctly sized eyelash roller has been chosen. If the roller has been too large, use a smaller one and repeat the application with half the application time.
The eye-area has to be degreased and cleaned thoroughly, so that there are no residues. The lashes have to be fixed straight and even on the eyelash roller. Make sure that they are not crossed and that there is no bend. The tips should lie flat on the roller.
A small amount of Glue is sufficient. After applying it wait for a moment as the Glue unfolds its sticking strength not until it has slightly dried. Afterwards fix the lashes with rosewood sticks. In case the lashes still aren’t fixed, apply a little more Glue.
Bend the roller several times before application so that it will adopt a form corresponding to the lid curvature. Only touch the sides of the roller to avoid the self-adhesive glue coming off.
Yes, it’s possible to mix the colour gels, to achieve further colour shades. Attention: The Developer gel is not to be mixed with the Colour gels but applied as second step.
In general, yes. In rare cases eyebrows that are very bristly can’t absorb the tint due to their special structure. In this case the brows can be made ready for tinting with the oxidative bleaching paste Blonde Brow.

You can remove stains that developed during tinting with RefectoCil® Sensitive easily and quickly with RefectoCil® Sensitive Tint Remover. Tip: The quicker the stain is treated the easier its removal. Attention: Stains that developed during tinting with RefectoCil® Sensitive, can only be removed with RefectoCil® Sensitive Tint Remover.
The Colour gel and Developer gel are not mixed but applied one after the other. Here you can find the Sensitive application.
Tint with a mix of RefectoCil No. 3.1 light brown and No. 1.1 graphite (ratio 1:1). Apply to the brows and leave on for 1-3 minutes. If you leave the paste on longer, the brows can get too dark fast because after bleaching the hair absorbs the tint quicker than usual.
5-20 minutes, depending on the desired lightning effect. 5 minutes: to go one shade lighter 12 minutes: to go two shades lighter 20 minutes: to go three shades lighter If you are feeling insecure, occasionally remove some of the paste from the end of the brow to check the lightning effect.
Only untreated hair should be bleached. Bleaching after tinting can cause unwanted colour results.
Blonde Brow has been designed especially for the sensitive eye-area and can therefore be used without concern on the brows. It causes less reddishness than conventional bleaching products and provides natural results.
The application time varies from person to person; it depends on the individual hair structure. In general, the minimum application time is 3 minutes and the following rule applies: The longer the application time, the more intense the result. Red shades need longer to develop. The application time for RefectoCil red is 10-20 minutes, when tinting with chestnut it’s 10 minutes. Tip for beginners: Remove the tinting paste from one eyebrow after 2-3 minutes and check the result and/or show the client. If the tinting result is not intense enough yet, apply the tinting paste again.
For a reddish shimmer, mix a small amount of RefectoCil Red with the desired tint or tint with pure Red if you’d like to achieve a strong result.
Ideally, the client is seated in a relaxed position, leaning slightly backwards. The eyes have to be closed during the treatment.
We recommend an allergy test (Patch test) 48-72 hours before the first application as well as after long periods without tinting. Instructions: Mix 1 cm of RefectoCil eyelash & eyebrow tint with 5 drops of RefectoCil Oxidant liquid or 8-10 drops of RefectoCil Oxidant cream. Apply a small amount to a small area on the inner bend of the elbow or behind the ear. Allow to dry and leave uncovered for 48-72 hours, then clean thoroughly. If any irritation occurs during this time do not carry out the treatment.
No, RefectoCil Sensitive is not suitable for tinting beards. We recommend using RefectoCil oxidative tints. For information regarding application and before/after effect, follow the link to our application video and watch beard tinting with RefectoCil pure black.
The reddishness can be compensated through dyeing with RefectoCil® No. 3.1. light brown. Here you can find our tutorial.

Yes, either tint the whole beard or the grey areas with RefectoCil pure black. The application time is 10 minutes.
Yes. First bleach the hair with Blonde Brow and then tint with the desired RefectoCil® colour.
The eyebrow colour should always match your client‘s skin type and reflect an aspect of the hair colour.
Tinted lashes provide a radiant look – no make-up needed. Tinting is also recommended for dark lashes since this way the tips are emphasized and the full length of the lashes becomes visible. Tip for blondes: Lashes tinted with deep blue complement blonde looks perfectly!
With Blonde Brow you can not only achieve naturally blonde brows but it also enables tinting dark brows in light hues. Besides it also helps with tinting grey or bristle eyebrows.
It should be applied starting from the middle going down to the lower part of the lashes. Leave the tips completely uncovered.
First shape, then tint. This way you are saving time because after the application of Eyelash Curl the application time of the tint is reduced to 2 minutes. If you tint first, there’s a risk that Eyelash Curl is extracting the tint and you have to dye a second time which is not damaging for the hair but time consuming.
Yes. To achieve the best possible result make sure to remove all traces of the product used beforehand by using RefectoCil Micellar Eye Make-up Remover.

To achieve an even result, the brows have to be completely covered with the paste from root to tip. There shouldn’t be any hair left visible. Tip: Apply Blonde Brow also against the direction of hair growth to make sure each hair is covered.
For a natural look, the brows should always be 2 shades darker than the hair. For a dominant and eye-catching look, Contrast Brows are ideal.

Adhere to the marking points. The side with ONE point is located at the beginning of the brow, above the nostril. Always position the strips horizontally.
